Mahindra has officially launched the all-new Mahindra XUV 3XO, a bold and feature-rich compact SUV that redefines what sub-4 meter SUVs can offer in terms of style, features, and value. Replacing the XUV300, the 3XO comes with a redesigned front grille featuring Mahindra’s signature LED DRLs, projector headlamps with sequential turn indicators, and a sculpted bonnet that gives it a powerful SUV stance. The body design is more aerodynamic with strong character lines, muscular wheel arches, and new diamond-cut alloy wheels that give it a bold road presence.
The rear features a striking connected LED tail-lamp bar and an upright boot with sharp detailing that makes it look more premium than ever. The XUV 3XO’s updated styling and proportions give it a confident look while staying city-friendly in size.
Spacious Tech-Packed Cabin with Panoramic Sunroof and Twin Displays
Inside the cabin, the XUV 3XO impresses with a dual-tone dashboard layout, soft-touch materials, and a new floating 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system paired with a digital instrument cluster. The infotainment is powered by Mahindra’s AdrenoX OS and supports wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, voice commands, navigation, and connected car tech with over 80 features. The highlight is the segment-first panoramic sunroof, a huge draw for young buyers in this segment. Other premium features include dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, rear AC vents, push-button start, wireless charging, ambient lighting, and a 360-degree camera with blind spot monitoring. The seats offer good cushioning, and the rear legroom is improved over the previous generation, with a boot space of around 364 litres making it practical for family use.
Turbo Petrol Engines with Multiple Transmission Options
The Mahindra XUV 3XO is offered with three engine options a 1.2L turbo petrol MPFi (110PS), a 1.2L TGDi direct-injection turbo petrol (130PS), and a 1.5L diesel engine (117PS). The powertrains are mated to 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic, and 6-speed AMT options, depending on the variant. The TGDi engine delivers segment-best torque of 230Nm and offers quick acceleration and overtaking performance on highways. Mahindra claims a best-in-class fuel efficiency of up to 20.1 km/l, depending on the engine and gearbox combo. The suspension setup has been tuned by Mahindra’s global R&D team to offer stable highway dynamics, comfortable city rides, and reliable cornering, making it suitable for both urban drivers and weekend travellers.
Class-Leading Safety with 6 Airbags and ADAS Level 2
Safety is one of the strongest pillars of the XUV 3XO. It is built on a high-strength steel platform and offers up to 6 airbags across variants along with ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control, hill hold assist, roll-over mitigation, all-wheel disc brakes, ISOFIX mounts, and tyre pressure monitoring. The top-spec variants get ADAS Level 2, including features like adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, and traffic sign recognition making it the first in its class to offer such advanced technology. With a legacy of top safety ratings from Global NCAP for the XUV300, the new 3XO aims to continue that reputation with upgraded crash safety and active features.
Price and Variant Details in India
Mahindra has priced the XUV 3XO extremely competitively, starting at ₹7.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base MX1 petrol variant and going up to ₹13.99 lakh for the top-spec AX7 Luxury Diesel AT variant.
