The legendary Renault Duster is making a bold comeback in India in 2025 with a completely redesigned platform, modern interiors, and segment-first features, ready to compete against popular mid-size SUVs. Based on the Renault-Nissan CMF-B platform, the new-gen Duster gets a more upright stance, rugged body cladding, a sculpted bonnet, and Y-shaped LED DRLs with full-width LED tail lamps, giving it a premium yet adventurous SUV appeal.
Premium Cabin with Smart Connectivity
Inside, the 2025 Duster will feature a dual-layer dashboard with a freestanding 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 7-inch digital driver’s display, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, a panoramic sunroof, and a 360° surround-view camera in higher variants. Soft-touch materials, ambient lighting, and a redesigned center console aim to elevate the cabin experience to premium levels.
Powerful Turbo Petrol & AWD Expected
Renault will offer the Duster with a 1.2L turbo-petrol engine with 48V mild-hybrid tech, producing around 130–140 PS, and paired with a 6-speed manual or CVT gearbox. A 1.6L strong hybrid (with ~145 PS combined output) is also expected globally and may arrive later in India. The new Duster will also likely offer AWD (All-Wheel Drive) options in higher variants rare in this segment.
Top-Notch Safety with ADAS & 6 Airbags
Safety will be a key highlight, as the Duster is expected to feature ADAS Level 2, including lane keep assist, forward collision warning, blind spot monitor, adaptive cruise control, and more. Standard safety features may include 6 airbags, ESC, TPMS, ISOFIX, and a strong body structure possibly targeting a high Global NCAP safety rating.
Expected Price & Launch in India
Renault is expected to launch the all-new Duster 2025 in late Q4 or early 2026, with prices starting from around ₹11.5 lakh to ₹18.5 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Tata Harrier, and upcoming Honda Elevate Hybrid. The Renault Duster 2025 is set to redefine the mid-size SUV space with its rugged styling, turbo-hybrid powertrains, AWD capability, and ADAS safety tech reviving its legacy as one of India’s most capable and value-packed SUVs.
