Tata Motors has officially unveiled the Tata Curvv Mini EV, a compact all-electric SUV designed to meet the needs of India’s growing urban EV market. Positioned below the full-size Curvv EV, this model carries a futuristic design, modern cabin, and a long-range battery making it a strong contender in the sub-compact electric segment.
Coupe-Inspired SUV Design With LED Elements
The Curvv Mini EV stands out with its coupe-style sloping roofline, aggressive front fascia, and connected LED light bar stretching across the bonnet. The aerodynamic styling, squared-off wheel arches, and flush door handles give it a sleek yet bold presence on the road. Expect alloy wheels, dual-tone paint options, and roof-mounted spoilers to enhance the sporty EV look.
Smart Cabin With Digital Screens and Minimalist Layout
Inside, the EV is expected to feature a dual-screen setup, including a full-digital instrument cluster and a floating infotainment system powered by Tata’s latest software interface. The interior will embrace minimalistic design cues, with touch-based climate controls, premium materials, and ambient lighting. Tata’s in-house connected car tech and voice assistant are likely to be integrated as well.
Promising Range With Ziptron Technology
The Tata Curvv Mini EV will be built on Tata’s trusted Ziptron platform, with an expected range of 300–350 km on a single charge, depending on the battery pack variant. It will support both standard and fast charging, making it suitable for daily urban commutes and short highway runs. Tata is likely to offer multi-drive modes and regenerative braking as standard.
Safety and Tech Features Designed for the Urban Driver
Expect standard safety features like dual airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, rear parking camera, and TPMS. The car is likely to also include cruise control, connected vehicle alerts, and OTA updates, bringing a premium EV experience in a compact body.
Expected Launch Timeline and Competition
The Tata Curvv Mini EV is expected to launch in India in late 2025, targeting young buyers and city dwellers. It will likely compete with models like the Citroën eC3, MG Comet EV, and the upcoming Hyundai Casper EV. With its design-forward styling and solid EV foundation, it could reshape how compact electric SUVs are perceived in India.
Tata Curvv Mini EV Aims to Redefine Urban Electric Mobility
With a bold design, connected tech, usable range, and a future-ready interior, the Tata Curvv Mini EV is set to offer a smart alternative to both ICE hatchbacks and entry-level EVs. It builds on Tata’s growing EV success while adding a stylish twist for the new generation.
